HCMC, June 05, 2018_ The Institution of American Education (IAE) has become the first organization in Vietnamese education sector to receive investments from by TAEL Partners, a private equity firm with over billions of USD and assets under management. IvyPrep Education, a member of IAE, will be one of the beneficiaries to expand their college preparatory education model nationwide throughout Vietnam.
The growth capital from TAEL Partners will be used to increase the scope of IvyPrep Education, as well as to develop the model of college-preparatory schools (College-Prep), with the direction of academic English teaching, international English tests preparation courses, Mathematics-Science knowledge and other necessary skills conveyed in English.
“IvyPrep Education will be where students are fully prepared for high schools and university success, as they will be able to access counseling plans, acquire knowledge and direction to apply for scholarships, and to kick-start their years in the best schools in America and all over the world.” Dr. Dam Quang Minh – Member of the Board of Directors of IAE said.
“To get started with, we will use the funding source to improve on education quality. It is our top priority at the moment.” Mrs. Nguyen An Quyen, the Managing Director of IvyPrep, said. “Firstly, 100% of foreign instructors at IvyPrep Education are required to have international certificates and qualifications from leading universities in the U.S. or the U.K. Secondly, all teaching materials are always up-to-date, fully licensed and from reputable publishers. Thirdly, we strive to develop the online education system using technology 4.0. Fourthly, all of the learning spaces of IvyPrep Education are designed in accordance with the learning spaces in American universities.”
In June 2018, IvyPrep Education will, together with Innovation Space nationwide, launch creative classrooms where students will be trained about STEM and coding. They will have access to a number of devices to aid their training, including NAO robot, Arduino Board, coding computer, 3D printer, laser-cut machines, and so on. This program does not only foster the creativity of students but also provide them with the opportunity to practice with and turn the theories they have learned into realities.
