This is a special summer activity for the iSMART Scientists Squad, with a series of challenges for Math, Science and English challenges that took place at 22.7 in Hoang Van Thu Park, HCMC.
Mission “save the green”
The rapid development of modern society has always existed in two aspects: In addition to the increasing life, the environmental problem, especially the green fields in nature are seriously damaged, causing affects on human health and other consequences.
Recognizing that planting trees to help protect green plays a special role for children, with its mission, members of the iSMART Scientists Squad are tasked with overcoming the English, Maths and Science challenges “rescue the green” to convey the message to protect the environment, keeping green to the community.
Teams of talents
Nearly 30 pupils from primary schools in Ho Chi Minh City (Luong The Vinh, Ho Van Cuong, Au Co, Tan Son Nhi primary school…) have been present at Hoang Van Thu Park and ready for today’s task: to collect in turn the necessary supplies for planting.
On the journey of rescue, teams must complete each Math, Science and English challenge to collect materials for planting.
A team that completes 4 stations will become a first winning team. After completing 4 stations, receiving 4 ingredients, the teams focus on the last challenge, which is to accurately represent the planting process.
Each winning item in the previous stations is used to plant a lovely tree, bringing fun to the students. Each pot with very young trees is also a gift for students to bring home. Through today’s challenge, the more you realize the value of seeds. They share with teachers and friends the meaning of trees, the phenomenon of climate change recently, the importance of nature, the environment…
